Knox and Piper’s off-lead training in Charlton MA

Knox and Piper are young adult Rottweilers from Charlton.

Piper is a one and a half year-old female and was adopted from a breeder by the family at eight weeks old. Knox is a one year-old male from unknown origin and adopted from an animal shelter.

During the past several sessions we have taught them the boundaries of their yard, and to come when called in a variety of environments. This allows them a lot more freedom, and chances to just be dogs. This way they don’t constantly have to be restrained on a leash. When dogs are properly trained off leash they tend to be less frustrated and receive more exercise. Imagine yourself walking 1 mile your dog is off-lead and running to and from you, they probably have received about three times the amount of exercise that you did!

I’m happy to report this success story. The pet parents were very devoted to this project and now they all are reaping the benefits of their hard work!
