Cookie is a two year old Mini Golden Doodle. She is owned by an older couple in West Boylston MA.
Her owners called me because although Cookie is fairly gentle and loves people, she has never had any formal training.
Cookie jumped up on people, furniture and counters and tried to dash through the door whenever she had the chance!
One of the first we taught her were several games to ward off boredom, which will help with both her mental and physical exercise. We also started teaching her obedience commands as well as good manners in the house.
Cookie is a model student and loves earning rewards. I found that what she needed was positive reinforcement to reward acceptable behavior.
She is very lucky to have such kind committed owners that are dedicated to her progress!
